Sea Monster from the Deep

I did not take a picture so you need to imagine this. I was trying to make a shark but had a work event to go to so the babysitter offered to help with this masterpeice. It evolved over time.

She took some bread sticks (the Pillsbury roll kind) and added cheese to them by dipping each one in egg and then rolling it is cheese and baking as directed. This made 21 cheesy bread sticks. We then formed 3 bread sticks into a man shape.

We then took the french bread rolls (Pillsbury) and did what in clay work we call a coil pot - we wrapped each around on top of each other to make an open "pot" which would form the body. She then tried to make a shark head in the same fashion but it kept falling in on itself so instead she just added the almonds I had left to the inside of the "coil bread pot" for the teeth. We basically had a 6 inch diameter bread pot with many rows of teeth inside. almonds work well for teeth in all creations.

After arriving at school, we added spinach dip to the pot and stuck the man in the top so it appeared he was being eaten. The kids got bread with spinach dip for their snack but in a creative sea monster bread pot with teeth!
