Hot dog bugs with Honey Mustard Dressing

So, this was an awesome one - the kids really loved it and it was easy - just time consuming to make at 5am... but what the heck. Right?

Take hot dogs, not my fav but I did buy the kosher ones at Costco. Cut them into 1/3 and then wrap each with Pilsbury cresent rolls. Bake as directed. Then stick in legs using potato crisps/thins or pretzels. Put some ketchup and mustard into ziplock bags and cut the end off so it will make small dots (or plan ahead, unlike me, and buy the small squirt bottles of the stuff!). Use this to make dots on the bugs' backs and tiny little eyes and smiles from the mustard. Then, do the web - fill a rimmed plate with honey mustard dressing. Make a roundy round circle with ketchup. Then, just take a wooden skewer and pull from the center out to make the design.

I made enough for each child to have 1 -2 bugs. This has dairy and wheat but if you carefully pick the bread rolls you can find some without dairy in them. I know this one is not overly healthy but sometimes fun wins out and it does meet the standards of no-processed-sugar stuff.
