Here is something for Thanksgiving. You take a honeydew, balance it with a banana behind it, and stick skewers of fruit into the "rump" of the turkey. Then, take a yellow zuccini and use it for the head. Take a long skewer, or four, and stick them into t he squash and then into the honeydew. Use olives for the eyes (again with tooth picks or skewers). Draw a mouth on with a sharpie. Then use red peppers to make the gobbler thingy under its chin. You can also use them as feet. Peppers are great because you can cut them into shapes very easily. I then surrounded it with blue corn chips. It was a very fund Thanksgiving treat. Lessons learned - make sure to balance the hiney of the turkey with a banana. This baby gets heavy! That honeydew is heavy to begin with but with the extra fruit, it is hard to get into the school. You might need a helper to carry it in the car. When transporting, drive slow, pray, and put some books or a box down to hold the treat.

Good luck.
